(I originally posted this in someone else's introduction post, thinking that it was a thread for everybody)
Hello, my name is Jake. I am a Fundamentalist Baptist who resides in New England. I don't enjoy to be judged by age, so please treat me like my opinion matters, here. I am 13, and am going to high school fairly soon. Against my wishes, I am in public school. My family isn't exactly what you would call "wealthy", so Christian private school is out of the question.
I was first saved when I was about 7-years-old, and when I was around 12, I strayed away from the Good Lord. I was Pagan for about eight months, until finally accepting Christ as my personal saviour again. I was just recently baptised, and though the church that I was baptised in is a bit too laid back for my (and God's, for that matter) standards, I still think of them as one of the best churches that I have ever attended.
When it comes to interests, there are several things that I do in my leisure time. First of all, I LOVE to read. I read for over half of the time that I have to myself. My favourite book, and you probably know, is The Holy Bible. Specifically, the KJV. I am reading it for my first time, and am on Numbers chapter 27. Besides the Bible, I read a LOT. The majority of the books that I read are thrillers, some mystery, and some sci fi. Other than books, I like to watch horror movies. Things like "silence of the lambs" and "the hills have eyes", and such.
I hope that by joining this website, and popping in from time to time, I can learn some Christian values that I have not inherited from my parents.
I hope that you have gotten an accurate picture of who I am.
And, just so you know, New England isn't all that great. Maybe to those who haven't been there, but for me, it is just about the most bland place in the world. But, I suppose, Massachusetts is pretty exciting. I really like Salem. I highly reccommend it!
Hi, Jake. I don't know how many good Christian values you'll learn here. It's a fairly rambunctious group and you'll have to weigh what you read against Scriptures.
I, too, went to public high school despite begging my parents to let me go to a Christian school. It made going to a Christian college all the sweeter.

Ok, then, I'm ready to fight!
I'm planning on going to a Christian college, definitely. I have to use all the effort that I can so I can get a scholarship. I think that I'm going to go to Minnesota. The Lord tells me that Minnesota is the best place for me to be. My father's side of my family all lives there, so that will be good for me.
