I went to Bible college some are good, some I would not bother going to. My Brother went to Trinity Baptist College as well. I like champion, but I am a big fan of PCC and Liberty in which are not directly Bible colleges but do have theology degrees

Only problem with PCC is that it is not accredited, whereas LU is.
LU started out as a Bible college and has grown into the University it is today. It was not Jerry Falwell's plan for LU to remain a Bible college.

I like Bible college. I better, because I'm currently enrolled at Northland Baptist Bible College. I like it if for no other reason than it's location - ie middle of nowhere.
I like going to a Bible college because I like all of the Bible classes they have for you to take in addition to the classes pertaining to interests/major. Big draw back of Northland is that if you don't want to go into ministry or be a teacher, there is nothing there for you. This means that BJU or Maranatha or some such college would be a better choice if you want to do something besides teaching or ministry.
The other draw back is that not all Bible colleges are accredited. Northland is, and I think Maranatha might be...? but I couldn't speak about any others.
On the whole - definitely good for getting you in the word and grounded in theology, but if you're not terribly concerned about knowing whether or not you're a dicotimist or a tricotimist, then it's probably not for you.

I'm still in favor of more personal study. I am the priest, after all... :P
(On a rather unimportant note, the KJV uses the words "soul" and "spirit" QUITE interchangeably... I need to learn me some Hebrew and Greek... next summer maybe...)

I'm not sure the school I'm planning on attending fits the definition of a "Bible College". It isn't secular, being affiliated with Assemblies of God (my church), but it's a fully accredited private college that happens to be Christian. It offers some specifically Christian courses, but plenty of regular academic stuff too.
I'll be going for a BA with a major in Ministry Leadership. That's a pretty general program, intended to prepare students for a variety of leadership roles in ministry, or for seminary or other graduate school. That seems just right for me, since I think God is calling me to ministry, though He hasn't yet made clear to me exactly what He wants me to do. I'm thinking I might go on to seminary afterward, aiming for an M.Div.... but we'll see.
I have about two years of liberal arts college credits now, and Northwest has LEAP (Life Experience Advanced Placement, aka "School of Hard Knocks" credit), so it should take me less time than normal to finish that BA.

Just thought I would put my two cents in...lol I'm planning on going to Harvest Baptist Bible College next year...still praying about it, but I'm pretty sure that's where God wants me.
