i told this once before here and already got teased for it.. but i don't care.. i'm willing to risk it again... .. my adopted sister (RWS) and i were leaving the beach after surfing and a group of guys walked up and started talking to us... actually they were mostly talking to her.... .she is almost a foot taller than me.... they seemed really nice and were asking about places to go for lunch near the beach and stuff.... then one of them looked down at me and said.... "are you really that short or are you standing in a hole?".... then they all started laughing.... i stormed away angry and screaming at them... . ..... my sister told them off then ran to catch up with me... when they saw her leave all the other guys started chewing out the guy who said it too.. my sister said she wanted to go back there and kick the guys butt.. . all i could think of to say was.. "if i had a ladder i would kick it myself".. ..then we both started laughing.... except i was also crying at the same time... . i was really mad... but i think what made me most mad was that these guys had texas accents... and my dad has a texas accent so i thought they sounded really kewl.... then they came up with that smart-ellick remark and ruined it all... . . but it's all good ... coz i am pretty certain if that is how they were talking to everybody then they probably got their butts kicked before that day was over anyway.... ....
LOL it seems like we have very similar experiences. I try not to let it get to me though im not going to lie there are times i want to cry my eyes out when people say things like that but i dont ever want to give them the satisfication besides my husband is six foot two i actually dare them to say something like that in front of him lol. As of the whole child seat i actually have to sit on a booster seat when i drive. For a while i didnt and just sat on a phone book. my pride finally got broken and i realized a booster seat would be better than a phone book lol. By the way i got you beat im 4ft seven inches.

I hope liljen87 doesn't mind me telling on her. She and her husband visited our church. When it came time to excuse the children for Jr church, the man who leads the children out came over and asked Jen if she'd like to come to Jr church!

We all thought is was funny!

    What a beautiful couple DJ!

When I was 15, I told my husband-to-be that I was 18. Now I am 50, and he says I look 35. That is why we have been together for 34 years.

I'm 5' 3"... so I probably should just keep quiet >_< ...but I use a foam cushion while driving. Boosts me up about 3 inches. I like being able to look over the hood of my vehicle (comes from sitting high in a 15 passenger van for so long. I guess :P). My brothers think it's very funny. And my sister (about the same height as me) refuses to use it. oh well.
I want to get a bronco.
