Well, don't speak too soon... I fell HARD for my husband when we first met... by the time I found out he's almost two years younger than me, it was too late!

But honestly, he's so mature and such a good leader, it really doesn't matter. It never even occurs to me that he's younger until one of our birthdays rolls around.

Age limits are limits in a person's mind. It is mostly a Western repressive thought that is not an issue in other parts of the world. Why limit yourself and possibly miss out on the best thing for your life.

Well, as the thread isn't entitled "Is Child Molesting Ok?" I didn't expect anyone to take my original post as condoning such vile behaviour. My assumption that the girl is 18+ should have been implied by the context of the thread, so stating that up front would have seemed redundant.

Yay, reviving dead threads!

I've never, and would never, date a guy younger than me. That being said, my husband is 5 1/2 years older than me. Almost exactly.

I don't think I would date anyone much older than that. Once they pass oh.. 35? to me, that's kinda ick. I mean.. come on.. I'm 24, lol

But then again, when my parents got married, my mom was 25, and my dad was 50 (She was his "trophy wife", lol). 27 and 52 when I was born. Of course, my father didn't live to see me graduate from kindergarten, so there ya go.

Age really is nothing but a number (assuming both are of legal age)...
