First of all, GG, I think you are a bit obsessed with Schaap. I'm not sure why you have just a narrow agenda with trying to bash him, unless you know of some reason he shouldn't pastor (?). GG: Schaap as Bass: all IFB's
I had no idea who he was until the posts that you linked. Some of the things I've heard him say are truly off the wall, but I have to admit this was not one of them.
I'm no "bleeding heart liberal," but the NA's were wronged
the question is not who was the most evil, collected the most scalps, raped the most children, or ate the most mother in laws.... though the broadbrush attempts by some to paint all native american tribes as having done those things is akin to attributing the atrocities of the nazis to all people of european ancestory with white skin, and easily debunked... it is still not the question or the reason for schaaps sermon as i understand it....
the question is.... does a nation which heralds itself as having been founded on christian principles have an obligation to treat other nations and peoples in a christian manner?.... and if it didn't do that at one point in it's history ... does it then have an obligation to at least offer an apology for its' unchristian actions?.......
those who seem to understand and practice true christianity say yes it does.. ... but those who seem to think the title of "christian nation" means it was, in their opinion, just a little less evil than all the others, say no it doesn't...
which is the true measure of a christian nation?.......

One of my Cherokee reenactor buddies use to shake his head and say, " We didn't pay any taxes. The women did all the work. All the men did was hunt and fish and you whte boys thought you could improve on that."
