I'm rather new here, and was reading thru the different "Christian" college forums, and I'm just grieved with how much Christians have become one with the world.

Our family has attended many churches (all in the same camp) and I really thought the worldliness was isolated to them.

What happened to seperation and holiness for today? (rhetorical question, really....not meant for debate?

Sorry, I guess I'm just disappointed and really miss the types of churches that I was raised in, I guess they're a thing of the past.
The good old days were never that good. Rather, you were younger and a bit more idealistic. The same things go on year after year, generation after generation. The difference is that we now know more about it, or at least we think we do. We can read here about some one claims to be in the know about our former pastor/missionary/evangelist/college or whatever. He/she/it wasn't exactly what we thought they were.

My advice? Don't believe half of what you read here, even from people you like or agree with. Even me, LOL. The simple fact is that we all see things from our perspectives/biases and that colors our postings.

I am one "in the know" and I'm telling you Ebenezer doesn't know what he's talking about. He's a seller of cars and trucks...can you really trust someone like that?

LMiller, There are a LOT of Fundamental Separated Baptist Churches that are still PREACHING and soulwinning and Separated. On this board however there are a LOT of professors and not many possessors.

    How are we defining worldliness?
