I agree. Raping a 3 year old boy and then leaving him in the middle of the desert to die was a tad bit of overkill.

This entire scenario is pretty revolting.
From the article: "Al-Ramaly was found guilty in February of abducting and raping five boys, the eldest of whom was 7 and the youngest, 3, whom he left in the desert to die.fron the article"

I wonder if he would be punished as harshly if he had targeted little girls.

i do know that if he had raped girls, the girls would have been stoned to death, or murdred by thier families in honor killings, for the crime of getting raped and bring dishonor to thier families for that happenig to them,

in somlia, a 13 year was gang raped, and the new islam taliban like exremests that are taking over that country, stoned her to death in a very gruesome manner. they even shot a little boy to death by accident, when the crowd they gathered to make them watch that poor girls murder, tried to interevene and stop it.

if it was the girls he had raped, his punishement might not have been so bad.

I thought women were equal to men? If so why do they point that out?
Women in Saudi Arabia are considered property, owned by men.

    Not equal by my definition.
