My doctor at the VA Medical center in Syracuse changed my anti depressant.
I went off Cymbalta and onto some called Trazadone. I was to start at 100mg and increase it to 400 mg within one month.
I problem developed when I went to 200mg, I got a very sick feeling and a spike in blood pressure which sent me to the E.R.
I dropped down to 150mg and still had the same problem so I continued at 100mg for the rest of the month.
When the doc and I had our next appointment she said that 100 mg would have absolutely no affect on me so I might as well quit as I had been feeling better for three weeks already. No more visits to the "seventh floor."
All I can say is let me make more mistakes like that.
My appointments with my primary care doctor have gone from once every three or four weeks to once a year.
