Recently I have been listening to numerous messages from SermonAudio.com. with the hope of downloading some decent messages onto my MP3 player to listen to when I'm out walking. Many of the messages on SermonAudio.com seem to come from preachers from the south with southern accents. I live in a northern state and have personally found the majority of messages by these southern preachers to either be lackluster, or such that make me yawn and bore me to death because they seem to lack any real content or depth.
Does anyone else find that to be true for them as well?

That's just because y'all are Yankee bigots.

My morphology is usurped by my philology. My Christology and my soteriology cannot exist in one theology. My eschatology is a conundrum of bifurcation and false dichotomies. I don't have an epistemological leg to stand on!

The Biblical teaching on the sovereignty of God is summed up well by the Westminister Confession of faith: "God from all eternity did, by the most wise and holy counsel of His own will, freely and unchangeably ordain whatsoever comes to pass.
Oh, I see, you were actually serious about believing that because someone speaks in a southern accent their preaching has less depth. Got it.

The fact that someone speaks with a southern accent has nothing to do with the content or depth of the message for me personally.
Hey, I'm just messing with you. I'm currently locked in my office because the carpet is being shampoo'd outside the door.

If you meant for this to be a thread about sermon content and depth, why did you open with a statement about southern accents? It seems you're comparing the speaking accent of the preachers you're listening to online to those of the northerners you're used to...
And are you really asking if preachers from the south are just generally lackluster, boring, and lacking in content or depth?? There are a multitude of preachers in the south... Can you possibly have listened to enough sermons to make such a broad generalization... and be committed enough to that generalization to ask if others share it?
I shall repeat:
