And I am going to share every single bit of it with my children, family, and anyone else who listen to what a wonderful Saviour I have!! We are going to read the story of His birth, amaze ourselves at His love, and be humbled by His sacrifice. We will sing songs about the night that He was born, and praise Him with each word. I refuse to turn this holiday over to those who do not have enough spiritual understanding in them to know what Christmas really is!!

I cannot possibly improve upon this post, so I'll just post it again.

    Amen, sister!!!

    I took my stance alright!

First, I told all my kids that Christmas trees were nothing but phallic symbols.

Then, I had to explain what phallic symbols were. Boy, you should have seen the shock on their innocent little faces. But, hey, it had to be done.

DOWN WITH PAGAN RITUALISTIC HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS !!!

oh give me a break. this is a prime example of why Christmas has absolutely nothing to do with Jesus. It's about presents, christmas trees and everything else but Jesus.

that's what you don't understand. Christmas has ALWAYS been a pagan holiday. you need to do a little research.

How sad that you have never met a single person who is capable of celebrating Jesus at Christmas, while still having fun with presents and trees. Stick around on the forum for the next couple months, and you may learn a thing or two.

    Are you kidding me?

I sing songs of praise to Jesus, celebrating his birth.
I go to special church services.
I participate in and listen to readings of the biblical story of Jesus' birth.
I enjoy gathering with family to sing hymns and Christmas carols about Jesus.
I often have a Nativity scene displayed.
    I often light advent candles.

Oh, and also, I have a tree and give presents.

    Good grief.

Grandma got run over by a reindeer
walkin' home from our house Christmas eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa.
But as for me and Grandpa, we believe.

She'd been drinkin' too much egg nog.
And we'd begged her not to go.
    But she'd forgot her medication,
and she staggered out the door into the snow.

When we found her Christmas mornin,'
at the scene of the attack.
She had hoof prints on her forehead,
And incriminatin' Claus marks on her back.

Grandma got run over by a reindeer,
walkin' home from our house Christmas eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
but as for me and Grandpa, we believe.

Now were all so proud of Grandpa.
He's been takin' this so well.
See him in there watchin' football,
drinkin' beer and playin' cards with cousin Belle.

    It's not Christmas without Grandma.
All the family dressed in black.
And we just can't help but wonder:
Should we open up her gifts or send them back?
    (Send them back)

Grandma got run over by a reindeer,
walkin' home from our house Christmas eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me and Grandpa, we believe.

Now the goose is on the table.
And the pudding made of fig.
And a blue and silver candle,
that would just have matched the hair in Grandma's wig.

I've warned all my friends and neighbors.
    "Better watch out for yourselves."
They should never give a license,
to a man who drives a sleigh and plays with elves.

Grandma got run over by a reindeer,
walkin' home from our house, Christmas eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
but as for me and Grandpa, we believe.
    (Sing it Grandpa)

Grandma got run over by a reindeer,
walkin' home from our house, Christmas eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
but as for me and Grandpa, we believe.

    Merry Christmas
