Missionary Son Kidnapped in Mexico
Missionaries' son kidnapped in Mexico

Nehemiah, 26-year-old son of missionary Jose Gomez, was kidnapped in Mexico Thursday. Kidnappers gave him until the end of the day to come up with the ransom money. Jose received a phone call from Nehemiah Thursday night in which the kidnappers gave him until the end of Friday to deliver the ransom, or they will kill the son.
The kidnappers are reportedly demanding $30,000 ransom. Gomez does not have this kind of money, nor any valuable assets. Of course, even if he did have the money to pay, there is no guarantee he would ever see his son again.
In addition to pastoring a church in Mexico, Jose Gomez started a Bible Institute which is training men to preach the Gospel.
