He lost his brother earlier this year, and I know his family has had a rough time with that death. Adam is a fella who really has a heart for the things of God, and who wants to serve God with his life.
I'm sorry about his leg but thank God this family was spared the tragedy of that kind of loss again. I think it will be interesting to see what God has in store for Adam.

Please keep praying for Adam. The Doctors are still watching his leg, seeing if they have to take off more. They didn't do any surgery today, so that is a plus. They're trying to keep his knee, as it will make for an easier recovery. Please pray that he can rest and sleep, he's in so much pain that he can't sleep.
Maybe we're not supposed to be happy. Maybe gratitude has nothing to do with joy. Maybe being grateful means recognizing what you have for what it is. Appreciating small victories. Admiring the struggle it takes simply to be human. Maybe we're thankful for the familiar things we know. And maybe we're thankful for the things we'll never know. At the end of the day, the fact that we have the courage to still be standing is reason enough to celebrate.

Oh man...that's so sad. I am praying for God to give complete and quick healing not only physically, but emotionally as well...and for Satan to not be allowed to get any territory in this man's life with discouragement or doubt of God's goodness in his life.
