    Memories of my childhood

Getting a text from my family

Walking early in the morning when it is still dark and not many cars are driving by

Being outside while the wind is blowing and smelling nature

spring time when flowers are just beginning to grow and buds are starting on the trees

    volleyball

    softball

    watching tv with my family

    watching my children play sports

    shopping with friends

    holding hands

a strong arm around my shoulders

    wearing new clothes

    beach

    my christian heritage

giving my oldest daughter a hug when we pick her up at college

    sunday drives

    eating out on sundays

    baking cookies

    pretty nail polish

going to the movies with my children

    being in love

    Jesus

    Going to church

Praying with someone who has a deep need

    Aha moments

    Chocolate

Riding on Mark's motorcycle on a beautiful day

The smell of a newborn baby

    My children's laughter

    My grandchildren's smiles and coos

    Reality TV

    The smell of bread baking

Every single momento I have from my mother

    My deck

    Spring

    Daffodils

An unexpected evening with my husband

    A jacuzzi

    Having a massage

    Playing the piano

    Worshipping

    My brothers and sister

    My loving husband

    Testimonies

    Camping (LOVE it)

    Mountain air

    Oregon

Crossing my legs (anyone's who's ever been fat will understand that one)

    Good friends

    Honesty

    Warm socks

Hearing my 'text' chime on my cell

Special people on the FFF (they know who they are)

    And so many other things

    Let's see.

    The family

    Trout fishing with my sons.

the Caney Fork river at sunrise or shrouded in fog

    boats

    days on the lake

the sea in all kinds of weather

the smell of the salt air

    the beach

    the mountains

the smell of the wind off the mountains (smells like balsam fir trees)

    the woods

    homegrown tomatoes and fried okra

the smell of biscuits and cornbread

bacon frying on a Coleman stove

    campfire stories

my beat up old hat and Timberline boots

    my old dog

quail hunts with a good dog

fried quail breasts with hot biscuits, mashed potatoes and brown gravy.

    my old GMC pickup

sitting in the screen porch as night falls

nights in front of the fireplace as the wind howls outside and my yellow lab sleeps at my feet

    mornings on horseback

    karate

the smell of fresh tilled earth

the love of a good woman

    victory in court

the knife that my best friend made me before he died

    books on history.

    an occasional pipe

twelve year old single malt scotch

Man vs. Wild, Treasure Quest, the Alaska Experiment

    The 3 Stooges

I could fill pages with this stuff.

    ChuckBob

    a well made shotgun

sitting in the screen porch as night falls.

    summer thunderstorms

    the sun

seeing a million stars in the sky

    being with friends

    strong wind

    cats

    hot apple crisp

being wrapped in a fluffy blanket

    road trips

    silver

    Just a few things:

Rocking my daughters, even if they don't fall asleep

The smell of the air just before rain

    Wide open spaces

Sitting by the bayou just watching the water go by

    Phone calls from my sons

Playing the piano...or bass guitar, depending on my mood

    Foot massages from hubby..

My friends.....though they may be few, they are true
