What's your beef with Phil Kidd?

Evangelist Kidd sure gets bashed here a lot. I want to know the real reasons why. Is it because you modern-day Hyles baptists are jealous of Dr. Kidd? He has the old-time power of the Holy Spirit in his ministry, and your man-made methods pastors do not!!!! Dr. Kidd will not swallow goldfish to lead bus kids to Christ....he will use old-time preaching. Perhaps your modern-day pastors should learn about the power of God instead of the methods of Hammond and Longview.

Also.....Kidd is not racist. I heard his sermons about racism. You should also.

After watching his shouting sermon on Faith Baptist Camp website, I think he's ridiculous, and if my kids were running around like that in church, I'd do what my mom did to me when I was little and decided to run around in church, wallop my little behind thus teaching me to respect the house of God.

Kidd is a racist. I heard him use the term N****r from the pulpit. He also engages in verbal pornography from the pulpit. The man is a total perv, and not fit to pastor a pig farm.

Phil Kidd is certainly not a racist. I'm sure some of his best friends are Black. I'm also sure he thinks Condoleezza Rice is very articulate and that Clarence Thomas is a credit to his race. And that the Black basketball players in the NBA jump really well.

Let's see, some of the sermons available on Dr. Phil's website are as follows:

1. "The Confederate Flag Parts 1&2"

"It contains Part 1, the foundation in which I started, the history of The Confederate Flag.
Part 2, goes into great detail about the true meaning to which this flag really stands on.
It is a true history lesson everyone should know about."

2. "It's Truth Still Marches On; The Confederate Flag Part 3"

"This is the third and concluding message on The Confederate Flag.
As mentioned in the message, we had four policemen outside the church
and two inside the church, because of the threats that were placed on me during this time. Many have said that this message ties all three of my messages together on the Confederate Flag, and completes the study."

(Were these threats from angry members of the Klan?)

I have heard exactly ONE MESSAGE from Phil Kidd and this is the gist of what I got out of it as well! On the other hand, I have read some stuff of his that sounds rather articulate so maybe he is a different person from the way he presents himself in the pulpit?
