My youngest daughter has had health issues, but has done amazingly well lately.
A couple of hours ago we were outside. She and one of her sisters ran up the rock pathway out back and into "gramma's" house to tell them she lost a ball in the pile of bark out back, so they could let her know if they found it.
She ran back out, got up to the rock path, and I heard a scream. Looked over, she was on her belly on the ground. She has had "drop attacks" in the past, and my first thought was "not on the rocks." She never seems to have them while running on nice soft grass or anything...
I stood there staring for a minute, bracing myself to go pick her up, when she laughed and got up. She had simply tripped, and was just fine.
To better understand why I braced myself for just a "fall", a drop attack means she doesn't catch herself, she'll be running or walking and just goes flat down, either backward or forward, with no warning and no apparent reason. When that happens on cement or rock...well let's just say that just seeing it hurts!
I'm so thankful and grateful for how great she's been lately. She's even ran races with her sisters, and it's not brought on any symptoms.

I'm still watching her and a bit nervous, but this has been awesome to watch her do normal kid stuff this last week without ending up in pain. I've wanted to see this for a very long time.
