I praise the Lord for some helpful advice I received of my sis-in-law for my aching heel of left foot. Ever since I had the baby, I've been walking to lose all this weight, and my foot was SO painful, I was afraid what it might be. so I've just been suffering with it. It even hurt after a good night's sleep- being off it!
Well, she told me she had the same thing (its called
Plantar's Fascitis)
"Plantar fasciitis results in moderate to disabling heel pain. Plantar fasciitis is caused by long periods on the feet,
being overweight, and wearing shoes that do not support the foot well. If nine to twelve months of conservative treatment (reducing time on feet, non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs, arch supports) under the supervision of a doctor does not result in pain relief, a fasciotomy may be done."
Well, I'm overweight and always barefoot or in flip-flops, so, they prolly don't support my foot well.
Anyway, sis told me to stretch my muscle before walking and message my achilles heel and get a Doc Scholls foot pad for my shoe. well, I'll wear shoes if I have to...but the stretching has already helped!
praise the Lord!
