Default The start of another "ordinary" day

So today I'm at work and my wife is at her job, starting another ordinary day.

Many folks we know have lost their jobs, and the economic situation is only looking worse.
The ones who still are employed often have much harder jobs than my wife and me, but they must struggle on.
Thank God for our ordinary work day.

Before leaving for work today we said bye to our two kids who are still at home and in school. They too are starting another ordinary day.

Both are well and in God's good care.
Thank God for an ordinary day.

We have come through many trials and overcome difficulties that I as a sinner brought on ourselves. It was all set right because of God's grace. We are assured a place in heaven after this life, because of God's grace. Except by God's grace we could never have made it this far, therefore each day is special. Thank God for an ordinary day.

By God's grace I will get through this, another ordinary day. And I thank and praise God for this and every other "ordinary" day.

EDIT 2:30 pm: Just before logging out for the weekend I saw this post. My prayers will be with the family.
If your day seemed uneventful and ordinary, think on those who had burdens and sorrow today.
And while praying for them, remember, thank God for even a day that some may refer to as "ordinary".
