During the week of September 19-23, Judy Roberson filed for divorce against Steve. That is taken from the public record. I saw it in the Times-Free Press. That alone would be reason enough for most [not all] pastors to resign.

well he is following the Bible for the qualifications to be a shepherd to the flock..one of which is HUSBAND of ONE wife..so that must imply a divorcee CANNOT be qualified to serve as a pastor...how many single pastors out there do we know of? I bet the number isnt very high...most have a wife...

Let me just say... don't blame Judy. She is not the instigator.

    Very sad.

Well ..... I need a lot more than this to pray about. Please, more info, because my list is just to short.

This is exactly why I don't share details with immature "Christians". It is no joking matter. Galatians 6:1

    Default Instigator

If Judy filed for divorce, she was the instigator of the legal proceeding. However, she may not be the cause for the filing. Divorce is a really hard situation emotionally and spiritually for all involved: family members, church members and friends. So much negative impact, but sometimes there is no other solution other than "an ultimate solution" which a divorce is.

There is life after divorce as there is life after the death of a spouse. Of course, there are limitations in service which are always in the contect of our human relationships not in our relationship with God. God's grace is always sufficient for any who call on the Lord. Redemption, forgiveness and restoration is available for the broken hearted.

My firends, we need to be much in prayer for the Robertsons.

You don't work no ways, just to troll the boards and make idiotic comments.
