Yes, I agree the last president left on bad terms. He was also the Highland Park Baptist Church Senior pastor that said, "he loved everyone unconditionally all the time." We all knew that was a front he used to promote his show. Now that he has stepped down, he basically disappeared leaving his wife, son, and God knows who else behind.

Maybe Danny Lovett got right and fled like Lot?

how much longer do we see Susan Lovett and Eric at TTU?? Do they leave at the end of this school yr? I wonder why when Dr. Lovett stepped down as president and pastor, both of them didnt leave with him?? Sooner or later the Lovetts will be gone from Chattanooga entirely, and move on somewhere else...hopefully Dr. O'Neal will be asked to stay on as permanent president and keep the school going in a new and exciting direction with a promising future!!! Temple is starting to emerge from this black cloud the school has been under and things are looking bright again!!! I wonder where God is leading Temple now??

The Schools' website makes very little mention about Jesus Christ and has a huge Santa Claus photo about "Tis the Season and a 'Hip Hop Party"!

Can't get any more secular than that, I don't think. And it is Dr. Boulers' fault for tossing the campus around like it has been

dude its CHRISTMAS!! just because they have a pic of Santa dont mean anything!! yeah a hip hop party...prob dancing and loud music and who knows what else...typical college christmas party as they prepare to shut down for the holidays soon...finals begin Dec 12, and Winter break begins Dec 15 and goes till Jan 9 and class begins again Jan 10. I hope God is blessing and guiding..and is it also true they are not bringing in pastors anymore for chapel?? Students are leading it? what all goes on in chapel now? Do they still recite the Statement of Faith and sing the Alma Mater?? I bet those days are long gone....such sad times we are in now...and what is Bouler doing for the school now?? Anything??

I don't object necessarily to any Christmas party and the temporary open dorms. Just don't see why they have to proclaim a student body Christmas party on the TTU website. They must think it will win future students. How bout promoting academics and a quality Christian education instead? Even GenX's least favorite institution (next to TTU), Liberty University, has a more Christ-focused, education-focused website. TTU's web administrator is too focused on being "hip." It doesn't appear TTU has a committee that strategizes how to best use and tastefully design the website worthy of an academic institution.

I agree, it is cheesy (not to mention fun), but it is a YouTube video, not the first thing you see on LU's home page. Not saying the current Temple website is the worst website they have ever produced; it obviously has improved over the years. The collegiate tastefulness factor is lacking at times. Too many cues to look at gazillions of pictures of different events (concerts, grand opening of community soccer complex, varsity soccer and volleyball matches, art exhibits, etc.) with no captions under any of the pictures or short articles telling you what happened at the event or who is pictured. The photographer for these pictures is fantastic and knows how to take great shots. The problem is there is no context behind the pictures, no information about whether Temple won the soccer or volleyball game in the pictures or what the final score was.

I look at the TTU website all the time, and these are just my observations. Not meaning to be snide, just sharing my opinion for what it is worth. The overall design of the website is much more professional attractive than it used to be. Athletics pages could be updated more frequently.

We can only hope so. If they have half the success Liberty has it would be great!

I am just WAITING to see if Temple makes a vid like the one done at LU...man what a laughingstock Temple would become; I can just see Lee Roberson rolling over in his grave again!! Maybe Doc Faulkner too!! I wonder what standards Temple will have in the next 3 yrs...times have REALLY changed in the last 6 yrs there..and it dont sound like they are getting any better...still got that Lovett taste on the campus and it prob wont change until Eric is no longer on the scene...
