I think it would be a good idea to make it mandatory for everyone enter in their birthdate when they register as a member on this forum. This is not so we can know someone's age but so younger members (say, under the age of 18) can be easily identified somehow. The reason for this is that I would approach a juvenille in a much different manner than I would an adult who is acting like a juvenille! I do not want to lambaste a kid for being a kid after all!
The forum member could choose whether or not they want to make their birthdate public but you will have it in order to make a calculation to determine whether they are adults or adolescents.
This would also serve to protect some of the younger folks here should someone try to talk inappropriately to them!
And yes, I understand that this is something that can be easily manipulated as you really have no control over my stating that I am a 14 year old girl or a 72 year old man but it would work for those who are trying to keep things honest!
And if the regulars here know who the kids are, they will be vigilent to protect them!
