As a relative newbie to these forums I'm still immersing myself in the vast quantity of threads & postings. I'm even finding some quality in 'em!
I'd like to respectfully suggest that when starting a new thread we all attempt to mention the main topic and also add as much pertinent detail as possible. I'm aware its a problem in many forums, but it will help tremendously for someone here to find topics of interest when perusing the older stuff.
It seems many use these forums similar to a chat room where the latest exchanges will soon be forgotten. But I'm telling ya, the topics covered and the information presented can often be of interest for usmjamy-come-latelies. However the info is too many times buried under thread titles such as "
I just had a thought" or "
Does anyone else find this interesting" or even "
What do you think of this"
(actual titles changed to avoid hurt feelings) that give no clue as to the topics discussed therein.
Hope this doesn't come across as ungrateful, 'cause I like the good discussions when when I find 'em here. Just wish they were easier to find!
