Will you be consistent and ban all unsaved forum posters?
She has stated that she is a "born again Christian".....recently, post confessing her lesbianism........So, will you ban all those who commit abominations despite their protestations of being believers?
Homosexuality is not the only abomination. I quoted this elsewhere in the homosexual threads today and it was soundly ignored by all those Pharisees who are busy thanking God that they are not queer....
These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. (Pro 6:16-19)
Ban her if you wish, but be sure you ban all the others who are committing the abominations itemized above.......We do want to be even-handed don't we?
I agree with you here. We all will be banned if we go by that list and some others lists here. Jeannieskat should not be banned.
You might have your work cut out for you in that case.
What about the gays and lesbians among the atheists?
What about those living with people they aren't married to?
What about those who are having affairs?
You either have an open forum or you don't. I think you're going to have to decide whether this is another baptist board, or a basically unmoderated forum. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.
Keep imposing more of what is/isn't allowed, you're not going to be able to handle having this forum without moderators. And if that can't happen, it may as well become one with the BB and save you space and money.
If not, everyone may just have to put up with trying to witness on occasion here on the FFF. It can't be too horrible...it is what we're supposed to do when we run across sin. Those who can't handle being a testimony on occasion instead of running from it can go to more moderated forums.
Neither is wrong...some want a place of refuge to fellowship and such, some find that sometimes their strongest ministry is witnessing online.
You have forums that provide both. Let those that are bothered by the chance to witness spend more time on the other board or simply ignore it, let those that need to be witnessed to continue to have a place to come to online where that can happen. It's easy enough to control the number of unbelievers or limit excessive posting so that the forum isn't disrupted.
That's my input.
you nailed it.

I agree. It's not my choice - but this is not a church. It is a forum. She is telling her story. Not "pushing" it any more than the hcals here push the wicked sin of limiting God's atonement. (yeah yeah - blah blah - You're heretics)
God sees a sin. Not saved? Maybe. If God doesn't deal with her. But not because she is a sinner. An adulterer can be a wicked backslidden sinner, but still saved and under the chastisment of the Lord and discipline of a church. Same deal.
I am not a Christian, so, of course, there are going to be some things you regard as evil that I do not.
Coming from the person who authored the internet article, "I Want To Be Gay", authors soft core adult sites, makes lewd underground films, introduces young girls into a life of pornography and abuse, and promotes himself as a former media coordinator for Atheists United, is it any wonder his chosen screen name is about a dark pentecost?!
Let me add my .02 for not banning anyone shy of foul language or libel. These Christians who run away and can't talk to someone because they are sinners seem ridiculous to me. Some Christians wonder why God is not accepted in the public square........because too many Christians are pansies and have to stay separated in their "holy huddles" so they don't get dirty. If we serve a living Saviour is He not all we need? After all, He is committed to keep us. Are we afraid Satan has more power? Are we afraid we might become gay because we talk (or post) to someone who is?
BTW....I don't mind if FC comes back. She is a whack-job but entertaining.
I understand this board is the sole property of Andrew and am not critical of any decision he makes.
You really, really do not like the forum, do you Justy?
Webbie, I do admire your attempts at keeping it clean and from descending into the abyss that the previous one degenerated into. Thank you.
when you quit going out of your way to defend pedophiles then your talk of "keeping it clean" and "descending into the abyss" might be taken more seriously.

<Snicker> Alleged, Justy, alleged. You are just trying to bring down this forum because you do not like "clean," you prefer the dirt, and your many trolls.
