At White Hills Elementary School in Baker, Louisiana, my 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Pearce, set up a television in her classroom, and we watched the 1964 World Series between the New York Yankees and the St. Louis Cardinals. I got to watch Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris hit back-to-back home runs live on television.
