.. and no I have not heard of folks talk of spanking their wives until recently...and when I did hear of it I could not help but laugh about how stupid it sounded that someone would actually submit to that...and believe it was biblical... no scripture whatsoever to back up this teaching at all ... No- I believe that I allowed myself to be abused by allowing "the church people that was helping me" to spank me at the age of 20 because they felt I had disobeyed them (which I did disobey)

I did not get spanked by the church...

I received my last spanking (by choice) at the age of 19 by a family in the church that were my guardians... they were not the church!

were they influenced by the teachings of the church, or any religious leader to do that.

for anyone to spank a 19 year old woman, that is thier child and espeacilly if that is not thier child but gaurdians of that child, sounds more like kinky play on thier end to me, than it does of bibical dicipline.
