    one of my friends just learned she has cancer... she is 25 and has a background similar to mine... she is in my group of church friends that surf, and rides bikes together.... this past weekend she went hunting with me and my dad.... she is not a hunter or even an archer but just wanted to get away into the wilderness for a while after all that has happened...

    the day after she found out about her illness she went skydiving... never had done that before... she just drove out to the airfield and told them she wanted to sign up and go.....

    her doctor thinks her condition is treatable at present.... but said even if it is.... she has a 95 to 100% chance of it returning within 5 years... she has a genetic marker that predisposes her to this kind of cancer....

    please remember her in prayer when you can.... i can't give her name or any other information... she would be upset if i told anyone anything more... her boyfriend doesn't even know yet .....

    thanx everyone for the prayers... .. she is supposed to find out about surgery today..... and also will find out what all they plan to do... she is a 2nd year medical student herself right now... so she already has an idea about what to expect.. . but it is still very scary for her... ..
