Well, my wifes due date of December 9 is NO longer valid. Monday morning (November 3) my wife went to her weekly doctors appointment. Her blood pressure was high so, they admitted her to the hospital. To make a long chaotic story short, they decided she needed to have the baby right away. A C section was performed and, the baby boy was born 6.5 weeks premature. My wife came home from hospital yesterday, but the little guy will be there for a few weeks. He is in an incubator. He was born November 3 at 4:59pm CST at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He weighed 3 pounds, 4.25 ounces. He was 16 inches long. His name is: FIONN DANIEL. (Fionn pronounced Finn). Daniel is my name and, Fionn is a name rich in Irish history and folklore. He will fit in with my side of the family and, Chicagos Southside Irish. Please keep Fionn in your prayers and us during these tense times. This is our first son. We have 4 daughters. The youngest are twins who will be 19 in January. So, this is one of those "unexpected empty nest" babies.
Psalm 127:3:
"Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward."
