Thank you for your prayers and thoughts. Fionn has had 3 good days. He is off his C-PAP and, we have been able to hold him outside of his little "glass incubator condo". He still is being fed on IV. However, my wife has been able to change his diaper 3 times (she is thrilled. I am because it is a good sign) And, he is starting to open his eyes some. He will be 1 week old this afternoon. My wife came home from the hospital on Friday. But, obviously there is still stress as the little guy is in the hospital still. But, he needs to be there with the medical experts until he gets strong.
Our middle child was born early but caught up in no time at all. By age 4 he could swim the length of an Olympic size swimming pool. Just follow the doctors orders.

Ok, the mom in me coming out here...that big ole pacifier. LOL I never did get why they have those big huge ones in the hospitals for newborns!
Here's a pic of one meant for da little babies and shaped and textured a little more...naturally: http://www.babyearth.com/images/10-3815-01c.jpg
Thanks to everyone for your prayers and words and pictures of support. Fionn turned 3 weeks old yesterday. He is still in the hospital. He is off oxygen and feeding tubes. He can not come home until he has 5 straight days without a heart rate drop. He has a small hole in his heart that has not closed and he has had a couple "bradacardias" every day. His weight is up to 4Lb. 4Oz. Other then that he is fine and, so is mom. We hope he can keep his heart rate up to come home. Here is a picture from Sunday 11-23-08.

Are you trying to rip our hearts out of us? (You have succeeded with me.)
I was just thinking about him today and was wondering how he was doing. Will continue to pray as the Lord brings him to mind.
