I just hung up the phone with Chad Clark. He just found out that his 3 year old daughter Cassidy has leukemia. She has been sick for a little while and now she is in the Children’s Hospital in LA.

My heart is breaking and my words are few, would you please join with us and pray for this little girl. She just turned 3 years old in September.

I don't know this family or even who they are, but I know they have been through SO much this year, from your posts. All I can think of is their pain and this verse:
Acts 5:41 And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

I know that The Lord can heal this little girl, but more than that, I know that He can help them live through her illness. I will be praying for strength for them, to remain faithful.

Thank you for keeping us updated.

    Default Chad's daughter!

My heart is absolutely breaking! I'm sitting here just crying! I can't even imagine that Chad is going through! I've been telling my husband about Mindy and what she and Chad had gone through!

God bless this little girl and family!

    Default Update on Cassidy Clark!

    Dear friends,

I know many of you have been wanting more information on Cassidy, Chad Clark's daughter. My wife talked to Myndi's mom tonight. She was told that right after Myndi passed away, Cassidy started to get sick with a fever, body aches, change in color, and her eyes "looked sick". They took her to the doctor and it was passed off as a virus of sorts. She did not get better and this past Friday, her glands became extremely swollen. Chad took her to the doctor and they sent her to the hospital right away and had blood tests taken. She was then sent by ambulance to the children's hospital and diagnosed with a form of leukemia.

They say that the form of leukemia that she has is the "best kind" to get. (Not that any leukemia is good.) They seem to think that it is curable. She has to undergo 2 years of treatments and is already doing chemo treatments making her sick. They say she has an 80% chance of being cured.

Again, this is another long road for Chad and her family to travel. Chad is, once again, spending his nights at the hospital with Cassidy now. Cassidy told Chad that she was sick like mommy. Chad replied that she wasn't sick in the same way as mommy. Cassidy then replied, "I not going to die?" How heart wrenching for Chad. His other two girls are very distressed as you can only imagine.

Pray for this family now more than ever. Pray for the Lord to give them the strength to get through this....again.

My heart is breaking but I know that God makes no mistakes.
