Default Listen to the Hammer Ring (done by male trio)

Back in the 80's I watched Old Time Gospel Hour. One night I heard a song sung by three men I believe (a young man named Donny Heimer I think?) was in the trio. The name of the song was Listen to the Hammer Ring. It was very moving.

I ordered a cassette tape and kept it for years. It is now long gone and I would love to be able to order another copy (probably in CD format now). If anyone knows how I can get a copy of the album this song is on I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for the link. I wonder if the church has any copies of this left? I don't even have a record player.

If I recall correctly, in the 1984-86 range, Don Norman started doing the song by himself with a sound track. I loved it and thought he did a great job with it.

He could sing! It always bothered me that through many of his songs he would just "talk" the lyrics instead of actual singing. I always thought I could sing "that" way.

I just found the song on youtube! Wow! This is the standard for the way the song should be sung. It is just beautiful and brings tears to my eyes.
