Back in the 80's I watched Old Time Gospel Hour. One night I heard a song sung by three men I believe (a young man named Donny Heimer I think?) was in the trio. The name of the song was Listen to the Hammer Ring. It was very moving.
I ordered a cassette tape and kept it for years. It is now long gone and I would love to be able to order another copy (probably in CD format now). If anyone knows how I can get a copy of the album this song is on I would greatly appreciate it.
If I recall correctly, in the 1984-86 range, Don Norman started doing the song by himself with a sound track. I loved it and thought he did a great job with it.

I have an old Mack Evans tape where he did parody songs...Like the Soap Opera Song!

He could sing! It always bothered me that through many of his songs he would just "talk" the lyrics instead of actual singing. I always thought I could sing "that" way.
