I would have posted on the "I have 5 pairs of culottes" thread but it's just kind of perfect the way it is right now. When you look at the list of threads you read, "I have five pairs of culottes . . ." and under that, "whyevenbother".

Poor culotte girl. You guys scared her off. She only posted 3 times!

I can't even spell culotte. This is the spelling my computer is telling me is correct.

I am so glad we were never *that* separated... I was never subjected to culottes.

from the first moment i ever saw a pair of them i have called them cluglottes... . coz they were the clugliest things i had ever seen.. .. . one of my sisters in law tried to get me to wear them once.. .. she almost had me ready to try them on just to shut her up... but then she said.. "and they would be great for surfing!".. .. i reminded her that she couldn't even swim so how would she know, and then handed them back to her... ..

You need to offer some proof that those are real culottes... you know the kind with the pleat that looks like a dress when standing and not just long baggy shorts. We got standards to uphold for those of the culotte crowd.

I always wore the long baggy short type. That was before the rules on wearing culottes were refined and clarified for the sanctified.

Fortunately, I never *had* to wear to culottes. I was a pagan and wore pants or shorts.
