So even though, as Bandguy put it, you are constantly convicted and mortiffied of your sin, you still choose to sin - even though you have the power not to?

Did you actually read the scripture that I posted? Try it and come back with more mocking questions, friend.

Sir - I pray for you every day - I have for quite awhile - I try to watch my attitude for I believe that attitude is everything. You may believe that praying is a waste of energy but don't worry about me - I need the exercise.

As I told someone a few years ago (We were nose to nose and I was still in my 60s): "You attack me and I will turn the other cheek (once) - you attack my family, and I will go for your throat!" (They backed down)

So - as you see - I still have attitude sometimes - Yvonne tells me that I lost my temper (she was there at the time) - I told her, "No; I still have it!"

    Otmer,

You are wrong. Everyone deserves that judgment. It is only the mercy of God which keeps us from getting what we deserve. I like how you are willing to take up for your family with such vehemence that you would go for someone's throat if they attacked them. It seems strange to me, however, that someone can attack your Heavenly Father's character as being a monster and a mass murderer, and you seem okay with that.

If they are constantly mortified of their sin, why would they choose to sin?

Again, read the Scripture which I posted and I pray that God will open your blinded eyes and give you understanding.

Obviously, you don't. I pray that God will change that in you. Yet, not my will, but thine.

Why would you tell a miserable sinner such as I, lost and undone, to read the scriptures for which you know I have no possible way of understanding.

Exactly. If Gringo, the mocker of God, would have simply read the Scripture I referenced to him, he would have possibly figured that out. Or maybe he has figured it out and is just being obtuse in his sinful rebellion and mocking of God.

Yes, perhaps God will change his mind and his will and cause me to want to worship him: He who has willed that I writhe in eternal torments for my wretched sins commited after he created me.

    Woe is me.
