Anyone who does not believe that "demons" are real should meet my ex.

Demons are real and they can possess people.

    Uh... huh...

You do know that most "possessions" are really just mental/psychological conditions that are completely within the victim's mind? You'll never find a Buddhist possessed by Legion, and you'll never find a Christian possessed by Nix. Funnily enough, only the devoutly religious find themselves "possessed" by the evil entities of their own belief system... People who aren't religious often just say they have several personalities, some more violent than others.

I do believe that Physical weaknesses can open the door for evil spiritual demons to access our minds. As far as the NAME that a demon goes by. Demons specialize in specific sins. Demons are also intelligent and have an agenda. Whatever that sin that the demons specializes in is usually going to be the name of the demon. E.G. Lust, murder, ect. Sometimes demons go by names which originate in different and even unknown. Hearing voices is nearly always demonic in nature. Notice that the demons never tell them to do good things. I would dare say that if you invoke the name of Jesus Christ to these personalities, they would always be hostile toward the Lord Jesus Christ. Why is that?

Because these people who believe themselves to be possessed are Christian, and know that Jesus > Baddies in their doctrines; if you invoke the will of Ganesh to a possessed Hindi, you get the same result. As for voices in the head, it's also a major symptom of paranoia schizophrenia. Also, if the voices were telling them to do good things, no one would really notice, because the end result would be the person doing good, socially responsible things.

I think you're doing what people have mistakenly done for millenia; taken a severe mental condition that you don't understand, and assigned a malicious entity behind it.

There is no evidence of demons, beyond conjecture and pastoral ramblings, but there IS evidence of faulty connections in the brain which lead to multiple-personality disorders, conscious blackouts, and psychosis, all of which may appear to be effects of demonic possession, but until I see some evidence of such demonic entities, I'll call a doctor, instead of the clergy.

Not True. I know Missionaries in Africa who encounter demon possessed people daily. These people are into witchcraft.

    Here is one example:

Hundreds of Africans who do NOT speak a word of english walked all night to hear them preach. They had an interpreter there so that the people could understand the message. Before the speaker began to preach, 10 people manifested demons at the same time. They (who didn't speak a word of english) began to speak in PERFECT english saying "Get out of here we don't want you here". They bound these demons in the name of Jesus Christ and cast the demons out of several of the people. These people live in the middle of no where and are as poor as you can get. They were uneducated and primitive as can be. They responded STRONGLY to the name of Jesus Christ. The demons inside these people KNEW who Jesus was, even if there are/were people who don't know who He is.
