I started a thread since the SEC commissioner has been in College Station since yesterday. The Pac 10 Commissioner was in for 2 hours this morning and supposedly gave A&M 72 hours to decide. Several news outlets have reported SEC has extended an invite to A&M.

I admit that the talk of conference realignment is great theater. What will be will be. The SEC needs to replace Vanderbilt with a more competitive program. The West division of the conference is much too much tougher than the East. Send Kentucky and Vanderbilt away, and bring in Miami and Florida State.

What's your take on college sports realignment?
