Small world, isn't it? I don't recall his name specifically, but the church has had a lot of pastors over the years and I'm a relatively recent attendee. His name would be on our "wall of fame," so I'll be sure to look out for him. I'm sure Arnold must have been a good man - God has blessed our church with a long succession of upright men to fill the pulpit. We have never, I've been led to believe, been disappointed in that respect.

I just saw on your blog that you go to the Metropolitan Bible church. That is where my former pastor was before he came to Newport News, Virginia (he passed away a few years ago). His name was Herbert "Buddy" Arnold. He often spoke fondly of his time there. I was surprised when I saw the name. His wife is still here at our church. She is a dear lady.
