Apparently, some need the miracle of 'unclenching' to fully realize your comments...

Tarheel, I apologize if my remark offended you. I am delighted that the Lord has saved you by His grace as He has also saved me. I am glad that He did not remove your sense of humor nor your common sense. He did not remove mine, either, however, we all have choices to make, such as whether or not to follow Him. Very sadly, millions of people are choosing NOT to follow Him. Our public colleges and universities, as well as some private colleges and universities as well as most of our high schools have pretty much become "Schools for Satan". Things are getting worse. God still reigns, of course, however, I also think that He EXPECTS Christians to try to help "turn things around", to help lead our nation back to Him. One way this can be done is to pressure public and private secular colleges and universities to hold students to higher standards, to try to get the rampant misbehavior, drug abuse, alcoholism and promiscuity STOPPED on our nations campuses. I greatly envy those of you who were able to attend private Christian colleges and universities where you had residence halls filled with Christian students who enjoyed Christian fellowship together. That must have been WONDERFUL! Very sadly, I just did not have that opportunity and memories of things that happened to me still leave me sadly feeling as if I missed something by not being able to attend a Christian college or university. By the way, speaking of wondering what girls residence halls were like, some of my fellow college students did not have to wonder - they were either in the girls residence halls having sex with the girls or looking into their rooms using powerful binoculars and telescopes.
May God bless and protect us all and our families throughout 2011! AMEN!

That certainly came out of nowhere.

We had these open dorm nights when I was on campus in the Late '80s.

Regarding the open dorm nights, when I made my original comment, I was talking about colleges and universities in general. I meant no offense to Liberty University which is vastly different, praise the Lord, than many other colleges and universities.

Regarding my remarks about questioning whether or not some people here are Christians, please go to the Pensacola Christian College forum and read some of the flames which were directed towards me for simply asking about distance education possibilities for my daughter. I am sorry, I meant no disrespect for any of you in this thread. I guess I just felt some "carry over" annoyance from my Pensacola Christian College "flames".

No problem, forget about it! I am sorry I wasn't more clear. I actually meant to be supportive of you all! I wish to God above that Liberty had been available when I went to college and that I could have lived in the residence halls there instead of in the "depraved hell holes" I had to endure at secular universities! I envy those who were able to go to Liberty, and to other truly Christian colleges and universities, envying their experiences at such places! I can only look back on my college life with pain and disgust, despite any learning which took place there. It was a terribly painful time for me. I am so glad that Liberty alumni did not have to go through all that. I hope and pray that Liberty will grow and remain the fine Christian university it is, producing "champions for Christ"! I hope and pray that Christian higher education will grow and become extensively available in our nation!
May God bless and protect us all and our families throughout 2011! AMEN!
