It was announced Wendell Evans will work for another college this fall. Why? Where?

It was just announced in the last First Baptist Church Deacons meeting that Wendell Evans will be leaving to work for another Baptist college maybe part time.

Does anyone know which college he will go to?

I heard this from a long time friend who is a deacon there.

Now I did hear some rumors, but I would think someone out there in FF land has some credible information regarding the actual college he will be working at.

And why is he leaving?

Does anyone close to him know if there was dicontent in the camp?

If this proves to be true and he does leave HAC to work for another college, may God bless him. I don't know how he was able to linger as long as he did.

Any staff member who has been there since the '70's and had teenagers go through that youth group with D. Hyles as their youth pastor, knows all too well what was going on. I'm surprised that he is still there and associated with FBC and HAC. (same could be said of the Colsten's, Moffitt's, Staab's, Hackett's)

A comment about the post about teenagers living through the 70's. I know of many who chose and turned out just fine.................

Anyone with a brain care to confirm/deny?

This troll didn't even exist when I signed out before the holiday, and after one day back he's already banned. It's a real shame because I was looking forward to a nice, active week on the forum.

I have not heard this, but am not in the loop to hear it.
