you become a preacher & you give out advice, become impressed with how YOU helped someone & then preach about how YOU helped them, instead of pointing to The One who is the answer & preaching about Him.
you preach to your people from Luke 17:10 "...when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do." This is so they will not expect a 'thank you' from you for their time and money.
