FFF Terminology

It is now too long to include on my siggy so I am going to initiate this thread and put a link in my siggy to reference this:

For Clarification during regular discussion here on the FFF, please refer to the following:

1. IFB - "Independent Fundamental Baptists." These are Baptists who affirm the fundamentals and choose not to affiliate themselves with the SBC, ABC or any other convention. These do not include Primitive, Reformed, or Conservative Baptists who identify themselves as specific group within Baptists. Historically, IFBs are those who have broken fellowship with the SBC, ABC, or NBC and continue not to affiliate themselves with these coventions

2. IFBx - "Independent Fundamental Baptist Extreme." Certain "Freak-tards" who identify themselves as IFB and promote extra-biblical and unbiblical positions and regard loyalty to such as the supreme test of fellowship!

3. IAF - "I AM FREEEEEEE!" Those who rightfully assert their grace and liberty in Christ and eschew bondage to "Legalism" or "Externalism." Many of the IAF crowd has separated themselves from the IFBx Crowd but some may still affiliate themselves as IFB.

4. IAFx - "I AM FREEEEEE! Extreme." Certain "Freak-tards" whose emphasis on petty divisive issues makes them little to no different than the IFBx crowd they spew their venom towards! IAFx also includes the true Antinomians who flaunt their so-called "Liberty" and turn the grace of God into Lasciviousness!

5. (EDIT) It should also be clearly noted that there are "TARDS" in any group you may wish to point to or identify yourself with!

(BTW, "reformed" Baptists have little or no "group identity". SBC has the Founder's Movement (thousands of Baptists who are reformed in soteriology). Most reformed are totally independent and way more fundamental than most fundamentalists!! Just so you know.)

I have met many reformed Baptists including those associated with the Founder's Movement and like them for the most part.

I'm not a Baptist though, and the IAF label may have Baptist associations that don't apply to me.
