Default My pastor died this morning.

This morning as I was waiting for court to start the judge, who is a deacon at our church, called myself and three other lawyers into his chambers and gave us the news.

Glenn Weakley, my pastor and friend, had survived two kidney transplants and had recently been diagnosed with with cancer of an unknown origin. He started agressive chemo but developed pneumonia. last monday as the drs. were attempting draw fluid off his lungs he suffered cardiac arrest. His heart was restarted but he remained in a coma. Last night the respirator was turned off and about 8:30 this morning he went home.

Losing your pastor is like losing a member of the family. God bless his family during this great loss. God be with you and your family also.

One does not have to practice or condone sin to be relevant.
One does not have to shun all change in order to be 'fundamental'.

So very sorry. Prayers for your church family.
Choose your friends by their character and your socks by their color. Choosing your socks by their character makes no sense, and choosing your friends by their color is unthinkable.
