I just received this email from the executive director of the State Band Director's Association and wanted to pass it on in the form of a prayer request:

Our dear friend and colleague W. Francis McBeth recently suffered a substantial stroke. He has been in the hospital in LR, but is being transferred to a nursing home in Arkadelphia to continue rehabilitation. They anticipate that he will remain there for the next three weeks.

No matter what we do, it just seems we can't get her medications right. Sadly enough, I was informed they will have to be adding Schizophrenia to her long list of afflictions.
They are recomending a long term treatment center for her to try to adjust, and learn life, and social skills.
Needless to say, I am broken hearted.

She fainted Saturday and hit her head on the edge of the cabinet. She got a concussion and was bleeding in her brain. It comes down to a test/interview which is scheduled for tomorrow. I have nearly 10 years of experience, therefore, I should feel confident of my chances. HOWEVER, this yard isn't like others. Please pray that it goes well. I will go in with what I know and will give it my best. This is a district position, so the bennys are going to be sweet even for a 20 hr/week position.
