It is a Colt Army Special 32-20, handed down from my great Uncle, who had it issued to him in WWI and then used it as a police officer his whole career. It is a fine weapon, and is very accurate.

This was the pinnacle of my motorcycling experience. It was a freakin' BEAST and it was MINE!



I sold it shortly after I was married even though my wife said I could keep it! Truth be known, I had recently moved to the LA area and the way people drove out there scared me off motorcycles! :eek:

Now there's a new British company that combines some old-school bobber, dirt-track, and "naked" bike ideas with a modified Buell Blast engine from right here in the good old USA.

This one is my favorite, I think.

And yes, I know that Buell won't be building the Blast anymore, but H.D. is going to keep it in production under it's own label - not Buell, not H.D., just a "Blast" motorcycle, so hopefully they can still acquire the engines, and not have to go to Japan to get one. A Brit bike with an American thumper engine, and bobber styling with modern naked-bike handling.
