I don't understand why people have to come to church so sick! What is it you gotta prove? What is wrong with you. Is it suppose to show how "spiritual" you are that you brought yourself to church even though you were so stinking sick? Is that how you are "working out your own salvation"? It proves to yourself that you are saved because you drug your poor self to church will being sick? Or, are you just proving to others your saved and spiritual by sitting there coughing, wheezing, and hacking and wiping you sad runny nose for all to see. Poor You, JUST GO HOME!
Well I to am sick! Im sick of sick people coming to church. Think about the old person sitting near you who if they caught your cold, bronchitis, or swine flu it would put them in the hospital or, maybe even kill them. Think about the person around you who may have a chronic decease that a case of bronchitis could kill them? HUH? Would that make you feel spiritual because of your ignorance! Do you know that 36,000 people a year die from the flu. Or, what about the mother who has to drag your stinking germs and sickness to the nursery with her and get her baby and other kids all full of your fluey garbage. You know these people are working hard to pay for their kids to go to school not to sit home sick because of some idiot like you. Which by the way if your kids are sick, KEEP THEM HOME AND BE A MOTHER! God called you to be a mother first if you have kids, not an employee.
If you are going to be that STUPID to drag your germs and sickness all over a church, at least sit way in the back away from anyone. Or, better yet I have an idea. Why not stay home and get yourself better and watch the service on the internet or listen to it on the radio so that Mr. So Spiritual (I Even Drag Myself To Church Even When I'm Dying) will be able to serve the Lord with a measure of health!
Maybe next time you'll use some CommonSense!
Another thing that concerns me is when pastors encourage their members to to stand up and shake hands over and over right in the middle of cold and flu season. I wish all would use some common sense.

Amen.
I wish my church would stop this, at least temporarily, while such an epidemic is going around in our area.

This germaphobe carries anti-bacterial lotion. I use it regularly!

The one great fallacy of fundamentalism is that we actually believe that while we are confessing the sins of others that the Lord will not look as intently on our own.
As I have gotten older, I have tended to become less dogmatic over certain issues: "(1 Cor 2:2 KJV) For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified."
(Rom 16:16 KJV) Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.
(1 Cor 16:20 KJV) All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.
(2 Cor 13:12 KJV) Greet one another with an holy kiss.
(1 Th 5:26 KJV) Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss.
