Does anybody know anything more about the new president of CBC- Francis Grubbs? Any opines? IMO, definitely not IFB.

Here's the 411 from the www:

Dr. Francis W. Grubbs is an educator , administrator , consultant , author , and lecturer. He has served as president of two colleges and a seminary for a quarter century , and for the past 30 years has operated an institutional consulting service for colleges , schools , health care facilities , churches , and denominations.

Dr. Grubbs was raised in Nebraska and has worked with institutions in Minnesota , South Dakota , Kansas , New York , Florida , California , and Colorado. His education includes undergraduate degrees in theology and communications , his masters degree is in educational administration , and his PH.D. in the fields of education and administration. His main work has been to assist institutions to recover their missions and renew growth. He has directed the relocation of four educational institutions , he led his denomination in a successful campaign of doubling its entire constituency in a decade , and has been active in the redevelopment of several additional colleges , retirement centers , and churches.

Dr. Grubbs , in addition to his work with FYI , is presently the Vice President for Advancement for a major international missionary denomination , and President of Chappel Creek Village Retirement Center and Resort in Ohio.

    Books etc:

Paper: FW Grubbs A Comparative Analyses of the Effects of Regional Accreditation Upon the Church Related College - 1973 - Laurence University

Book: Francis W Grubbs Lord, teach us to pray, St. Paul Bible College (1976)

The Glory of Aging --The Glory of Aging describes what the Bible says about aging and reveals that God has a special purpose for the aging process.

Yeah, I heard this a few weeks ago but did not announce it because I wasn't sure it was public knowledge.

    Looks like it is now!

I'm excited about the arrival of Dr. Grubbs. For starters he is a real Dr. Secondly, he brings experienced and intelligent insight to the position. Thirdly, the man has a no-nonsense businesslike approach that the College needs in its leadership.

I am shocked Capaci is picking a CMA guy to run Champion. I see an article on this in The Sword in the not too distant future. I'd also be shocked if this guy is KJV Only.

I'm not really knowledgeable about this college or the new president, but I think it would really make me take a second look at this school if I had a prospective student. I hope everything works out well in this situation.
