We don't care. Honestly the ones who will "raise a stink" are the ones who are elected to become extinct and culturally irrelevant. Someone has to break the ice. We have known for years Independent Baptist's need to change their extremist ways or cease to exist as a movement. If someone wants to get upset or offended about what we do they need to just be thankful that our movement is governed by local autonomy and not by a hierarchy. If you want to invite GV then fine, and if you don't that's your church. I will guarantee you this; Bro Eric would NEVER criticize a ministry for NOT having GV, while many would feel obliged to let him have it for having them.
I hope GLBC/CBC learns from the experiences of HPBC/TTU since it sounds like they are following the same path, just about 5 years behind.

It was a very poor comparison. Kitson is a graduate of a college, not a representative. There are graduates of colleges all across America, but that doesn't mean what the graduate does is an association for the college. I work for a cable company - does that mean HAC supports cable companies?
Some would not like me for it, they are the weak ones. Some wouldn't care at all. I'm not at all associated with GLBC, so your last question is moot.
Kitson is an IFB. That's the comparison. The last question makes perfect sense. If the "extremists" are going to get into a tizzy about GLBC hosting Greater Vision then they should also be upset with you for being a fan of the group.

That's ridiculous. There are many IFB churches that have hosted Southern Gospel groups, and they are nothing like HPBC.
How many have colleges associated with them that are looking to expand their base? I'm not being critical of GLBC/CBC. I wouldn't want them to go through some of the same pain as HPBC/TTU.
