I don't think that PaulTimothyFaithfulman was stating an inference. I have heard Pastor Capaci himself say that the ministry is in a dire financial position and is in need of a financial miracle this summer and I personally know of staff members who are a month behind on paychecks. Those are facts, Justinian.

I said, in jest, that Bro. Mitchell "must of got tired of not getting a paycheck" because of the fact that the ministry is having financial difficulties. I mentioned nothing of "college" finances.

Anyway, college finances, church finances, CDC finances are all the same at this ministry. Fact: The offering envelope at GLBC states clearly that any designations of money to any ministry at GLBC, including CBC, is only a suggestion by the giver and the church is not obligated to that designation.

This thread isn't about the church finances, it's about the departure of Dr. Mitchell. You are both irresponsible to carelessly divulge information about the financial status of the church, and to imply that the departure of Dr. Mitchell is related to the church finances. I don't care if you were jesting or not (you didn't imply humor your aforementioned post) what you said could be taken as libel. You are also wrong about the separation of accounts within the ministry. Once again you should shut your mouth about things you know nothing about. It's absolutely none of your business.

If Br. Mitchell is leaving I am almost 100% sure that it has NOTHING to do with the finance but rather with his God-given calling: Helping to start and aid IFB Colleges.

Maybe it is directly related to the fact that Dr. Mitchell had to get a job waiting tables to make ends meet? Is that directly related to college finances?

I, for one, could not allow Judson Mitchell to wait on me at a restaurant. I would feel like I should be serving him. What a tremendous example of humility.

I don't think anybody asked that question. That makes your little rant irrelevant. Maybe you're a little troll who thinks he knows a lot, and to prove you post all the little nasty details you can think of. FYI the outside job was HIS decision, and I'm sure a man of great humility wouldn't want such personal information carelessly divulged.

"Little rant?" If that is a little rant, you need to get out more. I was merely making an observation that you conveniently confirmed as true. Thank you.

I don't think I know a lot, but I do not post about that which I know nothing. Also, I can think of several nasty details that I choose not to mention.

I'm quite certain that it was his decision. It was his decision to be able to buy groceries. It was his decision to be able to put gas in his vehicles. And, I'm sure that a man of his character would not care what others thought of the sacrifice he's made for his family.

What was your point Rob? Why did you feel you needed to post that? It was entirely irrelevant to the discussion! MANY full time christian workers have outside jobs. If you want to start a thread about that then do it, But that little tid-bit had NOTHING to do with Dr. Mitchells departure. So why did you post it? And you know I don't think anyone asked for any "nasty details". And even if they did do you care to indict yourself as a gossip. Never mind I already know the answer to that one. Don't get a big head because someone dumped a load off on you. I can already tell you have only been told one side of the story.

Actually, it was quite relevant and is a very viable reason as to why he may be leaving early. It is my understand that, when Brett left, he had decided to stay another year before leaving to work at another college.

How many of these are colleges presidents? I don't think he needed to work a second job while at Providence, did he? My guess is that he won't have to work a second job in New York either. Of course, that is pure conjecture.

You are just here for the fellowship, right?

Well take it or leave it, but I know for a fact that is not the reason he is gone.

Apples and oranges. Of course to know that you would have to see the salary package...

No. Just to make sure my Alma Matar isn't entirely misrepresented.

I don't care who you are, or what you "think" you know. I care about what you say CBC, and how you portray our ministry. BTW thanks for being honest about the gossip label. Of course that's easy to do with an alias.
