Ok, I'm a bit ignorant on the accrediting issue.
1. What possible rammifications could come from being accredited?
2. Would there be any stipulations or additions involved in the curriculim?
3. I assume that only instructors that graduate from accredited universities/colleges would be able to teach. Hence, where would they get most of their future teachers from? They better get them from inside if that is the case.
Better yet, they might pray in a Wendell Evans, Jim Jorgensen, or a Pete Cowling.
I wonder what colleges that the current teachers are striving to get their degrees from?
Can anyone say....LIBERTY UNIVERSITY!!!!

If you are going to have a well rounded Christian college that measures up to certain academic standards, you are going to have to demand that your teachers have certain certifications. That may mean that some of your teachers have degrees from secular institutions. That's not necessarily a bad thing.

It seems that Champion is doing all that they can do to increase their academic standards. They are not trying to be a diploma factory of which the paper is worthless. Unfortunately, too many Christian colleges are this way. I commend Champion for striving for academic excellence.

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but that is not necessarily true. Depending on where you apply for a job (especially in academia), they will check for the date of full acceptance on accreditation, and will then look to see when you received your degree. If it's not a degree from one of the regional accrediting agencies, then you are probably dead in the water again. TRACS is better than nothing, but is still not as good as an RA degree (I have a TRACS accredited MA, and speak from experience). If CBC is not seeking accreditation from a USDE approved agency, then they should probably not even bother.
