Does it ever strike you as funny that BJU really, desparately wants to be like the rest of us. They just can't bring themselves to let go of some of their silly notions.

I just followed the link on the BJU website to the Film (aka movie) website for the current project. The title page is exactly like a normal, Hollywood movie, complete with website, facebook and twitter links. Only difference is that this is a film not a movie like (gasp) Facing the Giants or Fireproof.

Yes, I know they showed Fireproof (see an old thread) sans the music.

imho, bju is a good school. there are areas i disagree with them on yes. i went down for one of the bible conference services in march of this year and was really impressed with their facilities.

Keep praying for them. Maybe one day they will achieve your level and standard of perfection.

I think you misunderstand my posts. I am for them becoming more mainstream. -no, not on the core beliefs, just on some of the unimportant societal issues. I just get a laugh when they try to look normal but underneath they are not.

They have been doing that for the last five years especially. What has it gotten them? Criticism from both sides.

That is one of the things that stinks about being a leader...you get your head chopped off when you stick your neck out.

Possibly that is why a lot of guys leave the ministry or never go into it.
