First degree seperations was againist non believers, and second degree seperation was againist brethern who associated with those non believers. Call it biblical seperations or degree basically the same thing. This is what drove BJU to drop associate with Billy Graham. Billy had people on his platforms that BJU did not approve of. Whether it was taught or not, it was practiced
