    Question Which is the true standard Oxford KJV edition?

    Which of the many editions of the KJV printed at Oxford should be considered the true standard Oxford edition of the KJV?

    Is it the 1769 Oxford edition edited by Benjamin Blayney?

    Is it the Oxford edition in the Scofield Reference Bible that was used by D. A. Waite in making his comparisons to the 1611 edition? It was also this edition that Waite used to identify what he indicated were Oxford errors. This edition was a long-time favorite KJV edition among KJV-only advocates in America.

    Could it be the 1998 Oxford Classic edition of the KJV edited by Robert Carroll and Stephen Prickett and printed by Oxford University Press?
