These renderings go back at least as far as the 1637 Cambridge edition. It may be that their source is the standard 1629 Cambridge edition. They were in some Oxford editions. They might still be in the 1762 Cambridge.

Yes, it appears that Scofield did follow an earlier model than the Oxford Edition (of the critical standard of the twentieth century). I have never said, and the evidence does not indicate, that Scofield made any of his own changes in the KJB in his 1917 work.

"burnt-sacifice" (Lev. 1:3), "wave-offering" (Lev. 7:30), "heave-offering" (Lev. 7:32), "wave-breast" (Lev. 7:34), and "heave-shoulder" (Lev. 7:34).
